We’re back from our break, and to finish our comeback from the desert of few-posts we’re once again providing our weekly oasis of good tidbits we’ve found on the web.

• Brendan - Blog from Scratch is a blog about coding a blog from scratch. My friend Jim who runs the server and makes all the content over at opendissent.com tried a group political blog (down), then a personal life blog, and now is trying out this, which I think is a pretty cool idea.

• Brian - All Hail Optimus Prime! Optimus Prime of Transformers fame decked out in high quality CGI glory. And there’s a video too! What are you waiting for?
  

• Grant - sCrAmBlEd? HaCkZ! - Have you ever wanted to beatbox into a microphone and have a computer automatically in realtime reconstruct your beat with cut up clips of MC Hammer’s “Can’t Touch This” music video on a huge screen behind you? Sure we all have. Watch the video on this site to see the most amazing thing I have ever seen done live with video.

  

• Sean - The Grand List of Console Role Playing Game Cliches - If you’ve ever played or even read about a console RPG, you’ll probably find something to laugh about on this list. It’s really huge and has been translated into three other languages!

• Zach - Scott Adams on Winning - A really cool post by Scott Adams (of Dilbert fame). It’s about tennis, winning, good attitudes and what it all means. It’s really well written and worth a read.
